Granite is striking, functional, and one of the most durable products available. These traits make granite ideal for kitchen countertops, bar tops, bathroom vanity tops, backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, accent walls, window sills, flooring, shower surrounds, etc.
While granite may cost close to the same as other solid surfaces, price must be weighed against performance. The durability, longevity and natural beauty of granite with usually outlast the home's occupants. The depth and character of natural stone cannot be matched by any manmade surface. Even the finest synthetics cant match natural stone's wide range of colors, nor are they as versatile, durable or long lasting. Natural stone does not depreciate with time and adds value to your home.
Granite is easier to maintain than you'd expect. Warm water, mild dishwashing liquid and a soft cloth clean up most spills. Granite is a worry free surface, requiring few special precautions. It is extremely durable, stain-resistant and easy to care for. Hot pots and pans wont damage it. It wont chip, crack or scratch under normal use. Cutting boards are recommended when slicing bread, meats, or vegetables to protect your knives from becoming dull.
Granite is grouped by number in terms of availability. Granite that is placed in the Group 1 category is the most affordable and most common stone. The more rare and unique the granite, the higher the group that it will be in and the more expensive the stone will be. We encourage our customers to travel to our preffered slab yards and look at the different options of Granite, Marble, and Stone available. Once you have found a slab or slab(s) that you would like, you simply ask the slab yard to place the stone "on hold" under the name of Granite 4 Less. We are your fabricator and we will then arrange for payment, pickup or delivery of the slabs to our facility to be cut down and fabricated. During this time we will also schedule a date to do a template at your home or business of the cabinets that your new countertops will sit on. If you are getting new cabinetry, we cannot do our template until the new cabinets have been completely installed. Once the template has been completed the lead time for your new granite counter tops is generally a week and a half. Rush orders are available and certain exceptions apply.
